Proiect Number 1804BK04 March 22 2007
MW-7BB: This well is located within the PCE plume core along East Pine Street. This well has
been sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September 2006. PCE has been detected
at concentrations ranging from 310 pg/L to 825 pg/L during this time period. This well monitors
the PCE plume core, as does the relatively close MW-1 BB. As well MW-7BB has had slightly
higher reported concentrations of PCE than has well MW-11313, well MW-7BB is proposed to be
sampled on a quarterly basis instead of well MW-1 BB which is proposed for sampling on an
annual basis.
MW-BBB: This well is located along East Pine Street and helps in defining the PCE plume core.
This well has been sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September 2006. PCE has
been detected at concentrations ranging from 2.3 pg/L to 13.5 pg/L during this time period. As
this well helps define the PCE plume core, it should continue to be monitored on a quarterly
basis.
MW-9BB: This well is located along East Oak Street and helps in defining the PCE plume core.
This well has been sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September 2006. PCE has
been detected at concentrations ranging from 50 pg/L to 220 pg/L during this time period. This
well helps define the PCE plume core near well EX-11313. As well MW-9BB has had slightly
higher reported concentrations of PCE than has well MW-5136 which is also located near well
EX-11313, well MW-9BB is proposed to be sampled on a quarterly basis instead of well MW-5BB
which is proposed for sampling on an annual basis.
MW-10BB: This well is located along East Oak Street just outside of the PCE plume core. This
well has been sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September 2006. PCE has been
detected at concentrations ranging from 7.7 pg/L to 57 pg/L during this time period. As there
are sufficient quantities of wells that help define the PCE plume in this area, it is proposed that
this well be monitored on a semi-annual basis.
MW-11 BB: This well is located along North Sacramento Street just north of West Pine Street.
This well has been sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September 2006. PCE has
been detected intermittently at concentrations ranging from 0.9 pg/L to 1.5 pg/L during this time
period. Although detected concentrations of PCE are low, this is one of the few wells that define
the western perimeter of the PCE plume. As such, it is proposed that this well be monitored on
a semi-annual basis.
MW-12BB: This well is located along South Sacramento Street, south of West Oak Street. This
well has been sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September 2006. PCE has been
reported as non-detect during this time period. As it is likely that PCE will continue to be
reported as non-detect in this well, it is proposed that this well be sampled on an annual basis
instead of a quarterly basis.
MW-13BB: This well is located along North Washington Street, south of East Pine Street. This
well has been sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September 2006. PCE has been
detected intermittently at concentrations ranging from 1.0 pg/L to 1.5 pg/L during this time
period. Detected concentrations of PCE in this well are low. In addition, PCE has been
reported as non-detect in this well since December 2004. As it is likely that PCE will continue to
be reported as non-detect in this well, it is proposed that this well be sampled on an annual
basis instead of a quarterly basis.
E2C Remediation 3
