Lodi, San Joaquin County. The documents are dated November 6, 2007, and were
received by the Regional Water Board on December 7, 2007. Your environmental consulting
firm, E2C Remediation, Inc., of Bakersfield prepared the documents on behalf of the
representatives of the Busy Bee Site.
Draft RAP Fact Sheet.
On October 15, 2007 the Regional Water Board prepared and submitted comments on the
Draft RAP Fact Sheet. Our comments on the Draft RAP Fact sheet have been adequately
addressed. Staff concurs with Draft RAP Fact Sheet as submitted, and we recommend you
finalize the document for distribution. As stated in our October 15, 2007 letter, the Regional
Water Board concurs with the preferred manner for distributing the Final Fact Sheet, which is
hand delivery to surrounding businesses and residences within a two-block radius of the Site.
In addition, we recommend that selected mailing be conducted to the City of Lodi, Department
of Public Works, and other identified interested parties.
Draft Final RAP.
On October 15, 2007 the Regional Water Board prepared and submitted comments on the
Draft RAP. Our comments on the Draft RAP have been adequately addressed. However,
staff recommends that one issue be clarified for the final RAP concerning the list of the Key
Monitoring Wells as described on page 15 of the Pay for Performance (PFP) Contract. The
list specified nine wells to be used for the baseline monitoring and future evaluation of
remedial performance. There is confusion in the list as it was stated in the PFP Contract.
Following is a table that differentiates between the wells listed in the original PFP Contract, our
recommendations to clarify the list of Key Wells to be defined by the RAP (highlighted in bold),
California Environmental Protection Agency
Ca Rec},cled Paper
