Curtis <br /> Civil Engineer <br /> C .E . # 11584 <br /> 418 Matthew Plaza <br /> Lodi , California 95240 <br /> Phone : (209) 368-4159 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Subject : Soil Suitability Study on the Dungan Family Trust property <br /> performed at the request of Mr . Monte Seibel , Land Surveyor , MS-98- <br /> 25 , Parcel Nos . 1 and 2 , to create a 5-acre parcel , Parcel No . 2 to <br /> be retained by the owner and the remainder , Parcel No . 1 , 146 . 5 <br /> acres , to be sold . <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> the percolation tests conducted on the Dungan Family Trust property <br /> shown to be located at 18913 Jacob Brack Road , Lodi , California <br /> 95240 on the attached "Tentative Parcel Map" . <br /> Existing Septic Systems : The San Joaquin County records were <br /> reviewed for the subject property , as well as other properties on <br /> Jacob Brack Road but no records of initial construction or repair <br /> permits were found . <br /> Existing Use : The tested Parcel No . 2 , five ( 5) acres , presently <br /> has a home , a mobile home , a barn , a well , a storage building and <br /> septic system on the eastern end of the parcel . The remaining <br /> western portion of the 5-acre parcel to the west is devoted to the <br /> agricultural pursuit of growing corn . The eastern portion with the <br /> development on it adjoins the Interstate Freeway , I-5 . <br /> The remaining 146 . 5 acres , Parcel No . 1 , is devoted to a corn <br /> raising agricultural pursuit . The positions of all the improvements <br /> on the 5-acre parcel , Parcel No . 2 is shown on the attached <br /> "Tentative Parcel Map" and Site Plans "A and B" . <br /> Soil Profile Test : Three ( 3) Soil Profile Test Holes were dug to <br /> depths varying from 4 . 9 ft . to 5 . 6 ft for soil profile reporting . <br /> Groundwater was encountered in all of the excavated three (3) Soil <br /> Profile Test Holes and on 10-1-98 and 10-15-98 the water levels <br /> measured from 4 . 3 ft . to 5 . 0 ft . below the ground surface as shown <br /> on the attached Site Plan "B" . See the attached Site Plans "A and <br /> B" and the "Field Percolation Data Sheet" , as well as the text of <br /> this report , for specific soil layer character and location <br /> details . <br /> On my "Field Percolation Data Sheet" , I have noted the soil <br /> encountered to be brown sandy loam to a maximum depth of 5 . 6 feet <br /> DUNGAN FAMILY TRUST , 18913 JACOB BRACK ROAD , LODI , CA. 95242 2 <br />
