These impacts will be minimized to a level of insignificance or <br /> avoided by specific mitigation measures including: <br /> Further excavation and quarrying operations shall not take <br /> place in the northernmost portion of the lease holding at <br /> those elevations below 240 feet m.s. l. datum. <br /> The materials from any excavation shall not be deposited into <br /> any watercourse, nor in any way contribute to the pollution <br /> thereof. <br /> No excavation or quarrying operations shall be permitted into <br /> the groundwater table at elevation 75 feet MSLD. If the <br /> groundwater table is intersected during quarrying operations, <br /> those operations shall be halted and the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region, shall be <br /> notified. <br /> 5. 4 BIOLOGICAL RESOURCES <br /> A potential exists that the proposed project expansion will have an <br /> adverse impact upon wildlife, wildlife habitat and vegetation. <br /> The applicant has completed and submitted a Biological Resources <br /> Report to evaluate potential adverse impacts to wildlife and <br /> vegetation. This report is incorporated into this document as <br /> Appendix 11. 5. <br /> Potentially significant adverse environmental impacts discussed in <br /> the Biological Resources Report include: <br /> Potential adverse inpact from excavation and quarrying <br /> operations to the existing watercourse and wetland which flows <br /> westerly through the central portion of the lease holding. <br /> Three sensitive plant species with special status identified <br /> by the California Native Plant Society as occurring in San <br /> Joaquin County do not typically flower until late spring or <br /> late summer. The presence or absence of these species at the <br /> site is unknown at this time. <br /> 1) Delta button celery (Eryngium racemosum) , a state-listed <br /> endangered species and a candidate for federal listing, <br /> which grows in seasonally innundated areas below 100 foot <br /> elevation. <br /> 2) Greens tuctoria (Tuctoria greenei) , a state-listed rare <br /> species and a candidate for federal listing, grows in <br /> vernal pools. <br /> 3) Ahart' s dwarf rush (Juncus leiospermus var.
