N <br /> -� 3. PRESENT INVESTIGATION <br /> 3 . 1 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> On behalf of Exxon and at the recommendation of E. James of the <br /> Central Valley Region of the California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board, EA supervised the drilling of three additional <br /> soil borings at former Exxon RS 7-1050 on 10 and 11 July 1989 <br /> (SBS, SB6, SB7, Figure 6 ). The borings were used to collect soil <br /> f samples in the areas of the former <br /> tank Pit <br /> tank pit (SB6 and S87) <br /> and the former waste oil <br /> � — p t (SB5 ). <br /> The samples were analyzed for compounds as recommended in Table 2 <br /> -� of the Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for underground <br /> r tank investigations. <br /> x I <br /> All monitoring wells were <br /> gauged and; where possible, sampled. <br /> t 1 <br /> In pursuit of closure for this site, the records of all sampling <br /> € have been reviewed and interpreted .and a Final R <br /> been proposed .for review by <br /> Remedial Plan has 1 <br /> the SJLHD and the RW CB <br /> Valley Region <br /> 3.2 DRILLING AND SAMPLING.
