The property is located on South Laurel Avenue, north of Arbor Avenue. This
study was performed to determine if the subject site is acceptable for septic systems which will
function properly and pose no adverse environmental impact to surface waters, or to the underlying
groundwater. This report is in compliance with the requirements of Development Title Section 9-
1105.2 (d) of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Codes.
The project description is to subdivide Parcel 1 from Parcel l (Designated Remainder)as illustrated
on the attached Tentative Parcel Map.
[2] SUBJECT SITE AND STUDY AREA BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The subject property is located north of Interstate 205, northeast of the City of Tracy in a
predominately agricultural region. Surrounding structures consist of very low density, single family
housing, ranches and ranchettes. Primary agricultural production is alfalfa, pasture and forage crops.
The Designated Remainder is currently in alfalfa. The topography of the subject Parcels is relatively
flat. A proposed septic system will not have to be designed accordingly to accommodate slopes.
There are presently two structures on Parcel 1.
A review of Application Permits on file with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department indicates there have been five Applications for Repairs/Additions in the one mile radius
study area. These applications for system modifications were for additional leachline to existing
systems. Also, four well logs are attached which illustrate the deep subsurface soil strata.
Va0ey Ag*search
