FRONTAGE ROAD <br /> STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> OUR PROJECT NUMBER: NA187056 <br /> Our office was contracted by Mr. Ngoc Le to conduct a Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br /> (SSNLS) for the site located at 8200 Highway 99 E. Frontage Road, Stockton, San Joaquin <br /> County, California, Assessor Parcel Number (APN) 085-310-10. This report has been prepared <br /> to meet the requirements of the San Joaquin County Development Title Chapter 9-1105, Section <br /> 9-1105.2, as follows: <br /> The suitability of an area proposed for septic tank usage shall be determined prior to submission <br /> of a General Plan Amendment or Zone Reclassification application, the approval of a parcel or <br /> final map, or the issuance of a building permit for other development project applications. The <br /> suitability shall be determined by the Environmental Health Division in accordance with the <br /> following criteria: <br /> (1) The intensity and extent of the existing and the proposed development project's use of <br /> septic tanks within and around the area; <br /> (2) The suitability of the soil for utilizing septic systems, including percolation rates and <br /> soil profiles; <br /> (3) The depth and gradient of the water table,- <br /> (4) <br /> able;(4) The history of past uses in the project area to assess potential problems; <br /> (5) Other information as required by the Environmental Health Division to determine the <br /> cumulative effect of the existing and the proposed development project on groundwater <br /> contamination; and <br /> (6) In non-agricultural zones, septic systems will only be considered for parcels two (2) <br /> acres or more in size, except in areas zoned Rural Residential, where parcels one (1)acre <br /> or more in size will be considered if served by a public water system and public storm <br /> drainage system. Other requirements of this Chapter must still be met. <br /> The purpose of the SSNLS is to identify, to the extent feasible and based on the search methods <br /> described in the text, the history of past uses in the project area to assess potential problems in <br /> connection with the site. The report also provides recommendations intended to inform the client <br /> and allow the EHD to make an informed decision on whether further action should be required to <br /> address any potential contamination sources identified. This report contains information and data <br /> provided to Terracon by several sources.
