Seepage pit
widths range between 2.75 and 5 feet.
1.3.6 Septic Repair Permit History in the Vicinity
Septic repair permits appear to be for the addition or replacement of leach lines with seepage
pits. Septic permits can be found in Appendix C of this report.
1.3.7 Expected On-Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage
The total maximum daily septic tank usage for the site will be approximately 620 gallons per day
(gpd). Refer to Section 2.3.4 for the calculation.
1.4 Groundwater Information
1.4.1 Groundwater Depth and Gradient
Groundwater was not encountered within our geotechnical or percolation test borings which were
drilled between 3.5 and 3.9 feet below grade surface (bgs).
According to the California Department of Water Resources, Groundwater Information Center
Interactive Map from 2014 through 2018 depth to groundwater was reported between
approximately 130 and 150 feet bgs in the Spring and approximately 150 and 160 feet in the Fall.
Based on a review of Department of Water Resources (DWR) Well Completion Reports dated
2014 and 2016, depth of the static water level measured between 140 and 148 feet bgs at
groundwater wells located within 0.5 miles northwest and southwest of the site. The groundwater
flow direction and the depth to shallow, unconfined groundwater, if present, would likely vary
Responsive Resourceful E, Reliable 6
