'A
r
Valley Motors page 2
800 E. Main Street, Stockton.
You are hereby directed to sample all ground water monitoring wells and all
vapor wells with ground water in them on a quarterly basis and have the samples
analyzed for Total Petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as diesel and as gasoline,
using EPA Method 8015m, BTEX, the fuel oxygenates, 1,2-DCA, EDB, using EPA
Method 826013, and lead, using EPA Method 6010, and submit the data in a report
to Geotracker prior to the next sampling event.
The next QMR, Third Quarter 2005, is due before the fourth quarter sampling event is
conducted. Mr. Infurna will attend the next sampling event and inspect the status of the
SVE system. You are directed to contact him with no less than 48-working hours
notice for this mandatory inspection.
Failure to comply with directives issued by EHD will jeopardize your ability to remain
eligible to receive reimbursement from the State Water Resources Control Board
(SWRCB) Clean Up Fund (CUF) and may subject you to formal enforcement actions.
In addition, the CUF may no longer exist after December 31, 2010. It normally takes
several years of active cleanup and then post remedial monitoring to get ai site to the
status that further action is not required, so expediting cleanup at your siteis in your
best interest.
You may have your consultant contact Michael Infurna at (209) 468-3454 to schedule
the inspection.
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Michael J.
