This contract includes a provision for technical support by the <br /> California Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB). <br /> PHS/EHD has recently received a letter from the CVRWQCS that provides guidance on how to <br /> analyze for the oxygenated compounds in gasoline until a definitive protocol" can be <br /> established. Based on this letter, PHS/EHD is directing you to analyze samples from all of <br /> o <br /> your monitoring wells for Tertiary Butyl Alcohol (TBA), Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether(MTBE), Di- <br /> isopropyl ether (DIPE), Ethyl Tertiary Butyl Ether(ETRE) and Tertiary Amyl Methyl Ether <br /> (TAME) by EPA method 8260. P eve that these compounds were will require analysis of stored in thefor aunderground <br /> nol and <br /> Ethanol where there is reason to bel <br /> tank(s). <br /> PHS/EHD requires quarterly sampling of all wells where the presence of oxygenates is <br /> confirmed by EPA method 8260. Modincatioon of hlmay be grantsampling <br /> ed only after nitialesampler of wells <br /> sampled, sampling frequency and method <br /> f analysis <br /> results are reviewed by PHS/EHD.
