March 18, 1999
NOA ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT NUMBER E99047
If permanent residential development of the subject property occurs in the future it
is recommended that enclosed structures not be located directly over the abandoned
gas wells, and that sufficient setbacks be designed into the building plans to allow for
access to the abandoned wells. However, if it is the decision of the builder that
relocation of any planned structures located over the gas wells is inconsistent with
design plans, measures should be taken to ensure that any escaping gas from the
wells is not allowed to accumulate in these structures. One option available for the
containment of any escaping gas is a venting system recommended by the California
Department of Conservation, Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources.
SIGNATURES OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROFESSIONALS
NOA ENVIRONMENTAL
Prepared by:
rn --4 A ca—
Crystal Ste h
Reviewed by:
b,XAso,,
NIORONMa
Robert A.
