Jerry Herzick, Building Division, and Kermit Darrow, Building Division, were present for this <br /> item. <br /> Mr. Fisher introduced the project. <br /> Mr. Fisher informed the applicants that he and staff would be recommending approval to the <br /> Planning Commission for the storage/retail building. <br /> Mr. Fisher informed the applicants that he and staff would not be recommending approval for the <br /> Truck Driving School. <br /> Mr. Fisher informed the applicants that the zoning would not allow for the Truck Driving <br /> School. Mr. Gatto asked what type of zoning would be allowed for the school. Mr. Fisher told <br /> the applicants that presently the County has a conditional zone (I-L/S-7) which means that the <br /> property can only be used for an open air-mall and a bingo parlor. <br /> Mr. Clair asked if they withdrew the part of the application relating to the truck driving school if <br /> the application could be approved at staff level to avoid the public hearing on the 21St of <br /> December. Mr. Clair indicated that he and the applicants would like to move the project along as <br /> quickly as possible. <br /> Mr. Clair and Mr. Gatto said that they are willing to make certain changes in order to move the <br /> process along in a faster pace. <br /> Ms. Sullivan said that staff would discuss the matter of eliminating the Planning Commission <br /> hearing and get back to the applicants as soon as possible. <br /> Mr. Neely reviewed Public Works Departments comments. Mr. Neely told the applicants that <br /> they will need to submit in writing a solid waste plan. <br /> Mr. Borges reviewed Environmental Health Division comments. <br /> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> 10:00 a.m. 3.
