Bright Development 7851.4.001.01 <br /> APN 240-040-02, 24832 South Lammers Road July 20, 2007 <br /> SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY Page 2 <br /> 1.2 Proposed Development <br /> The minor subdivision involves dividing the existing parcel into three nearly equal sized parcels, <br /> designated "A", "B" and "C" on the Tentative Map, each consisting of approximately 50, 50 and <br /> 51 acres, respectively. Parcel lines to run in a west to east direction from Lammers Road. No <br /> new residences planned at this time. <br /> 1.3 Parcel Vicinity Location Map <br /> Attached as Figure 1. <br /> 1.4 Site Map / <br /> Attached as Figure 2. <br /> 2.0 PRESENT AND PAST USES <br /> The property is presently used as pasture for cattle. The one residence is presently vacant. <br /> According to review of aerial photographs available from the San Joaquin County Graphical <br /> Information System (GIS), the property has been used as pasture since at least 1994. The GIS <br /> data also indicates the current residence on the property existed prior to 1994. According to <br /> historical topographical maps dated 1916, 1927 and 1947, the Property was vacant from 1916 to - <br /> 1947, except one house located in the property's southeast corner which existed prior to 1916 <br /> and was removed sometime between 1927 and 1947. A 1981 topographic map indicates the - <br /> residence currently on the Property existed at the time the map was created. None of the current <br /> and historical information indicates potential problems on the Property or adjacent land. <br /> 3.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> 3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usape <br /> It is presumed that the existing residence located midway along the Property's western edge <br /> adjacent to South Lammers Road has a -6�septicand le field located close to the <br /> building. During our reconnaissance o wer unab a to ascertain the exact <br /> location of the septic system. It is assumed the system was in when the residence was <br /> constructed sometime prior to 1981. Based on the appearance of the residence and the size of the <br /> accompanying Black Walnut trees, the residence may have been built in the late 1950s or early <br /> 1960s. <br />
