Bright Development 7851.4.001.01 APN 240-040-02, 24832 South Lammers Road July 20, 2007 SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY Page 2 1.2 Proposed Development The minor subdivision involves dividing the existing parcel into three nearly equal sized parcels, designated "A", "B" and "C" on the Tentative Map, each consisting of approximately 50, 50 and 51 acres, respectively. Parcel lines to run in a west to east direction from Lammers Road. No new residences planned at this time. 1.3 Parcel Vicinity Location Map Attached as Figure 1. 1.4 Site Map / Attached as Figure 2. 2.0 PRESENT AND PAST USES The property is presently used as pasture for cattle. The one residence is presently vacant. According to review of aerial photographs available from the San Joaquin County Graphical Information System (GIS), the property has been used as pasture since at least 1994. The GIS data also indicates the current residence on the property existed prior to 1994. According to historical topographical maps dated 1916, 1927 and 1947, the Property was vacant from 1916 to - 1947, except one house located in the property's southeast corner which existed prior to 1916 and was removed sometime between 1927 and 1947. A 1981 topographic map indicates the - residence currently on the Property existed at the time the map was created. None of the current and historical information indicates potential problems on the Property or adjacent land. 3.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE 3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usape It is presumed that the existing residence located midway along the Property's western edge adjacent to South Lammers Road has a -6�septicand le field located close to the building. During our reconnaissance o wer unab a to ascertain the exact location of the septic system. It is assumed the system was in when the residence was constructed sometime prior to 1981. Based on the appearance of the residence and the size of the accompanying Black Walnut trees, the residence may have been built in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
