The investigation outlined in this report was designed to assess the presence of
contaminants in the soil and groundwater beneath the site. To accomplish this objective,
ATEC performed the following tasks:
• Auger-drilled four soil borings utilizing a mobile drilling rig.
• Collected soil and groundwater samples from each of the soil borings.
• Submitted the soil and groundwater samples to a California state-certified
analytical laboratory for chemical analyses.
• Prepared this report to present the findings, conclusions and recommendations.
3.2 Field Procedures
All site activities were conducted under the direct supervision of an ATEC State
of California Registered Geologist having five or more years of professional
experience in groundwater hydrology. The conduct of field operations was
supervised by a qualified ATEC Geologist designated by the supervising
Registered Geologist. All field operations personnel were trained in accordance
with 29 CFR 1910 (40-hour OSHA health and safety training).
3
