The investigation outlined in this report was designed to assess the presence of <br /> contaminants in the soil and groundwater beneath the site. To accomplish this objective, <br /> ATEC performed the following tasks: <br /> • Auger-drilled four soil borings utilizing a mobile drilling rig. <br /> • Collected soil and groundwater samples from each of the soil borings. <br /> • Submitted the soil and groundwater samples to a California state-certified <br /> analytical laboratory for chemical analyses. <br /> • Prepared this report to present the findings, conclusions and recommendations. <br /> 3.2 Field Procedures <br /> All site activities were conducted under the direct supervision of an ATEC State <br /> of California Registered Geologist having five or more years of professional <br /> experience in groundwater hydrology. The conduct of field operations was <br /> supervised by a qualified ATEC Geologist designated by the supervising <br /> Registered Geologist. All field operations personnel were trained in accordance <br /> with 29 CFR 1910 (40-hour OSHA health and safety training). <br /> 3 <br />
