Mr. Michael J. Infurna, j..
San Joaquin County Public Health Service
November 5, 1992
Page 4
program and laboratory analytical results. ATEC will evaluate the presence or
absence of onsite petroleum hydrocarbon contamination and make
recommendations as applicable.
SCHEDULE OF SERVICES
The proposed scope of field work can be scheduled once the workplan is approved by SJCPHS.
ATEC will furnish SJCPHS with a 48 hour advance notice.
LLMTATIONS
This proposal is based on field work being performed in Level D personal protection (i.e. steel-
toed boots and hardhats). ATEC will postpone field work and notify SJCPHS immediately if
field conditions warrant an increase in personal protection.
ATEC will not be responsible for disposing of contaminated soil or groundwater encountered
during the field program. The costs associated with this activity are not included in ATEC's
scope of work. The soil cuttings and groundwater from the borings will be placed in sealed,
steel, California State Department of Transportation approved drums and stored on site at a
location designated by the owner.
ATEC has tentatively scheduled the field work for November 19, 1992. We hope to meet this
deadline as the next available date would be four-weeks hence. Please call me if there are any
questions.
Sincerely,
ATEC ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS
Yeill H. ifoo G
Geologic Cie I Mari jer
GEOLOGIST
NHZ/sb
TF OF CAV\F
sjcphs-I Lrpt
