The project involves construction of a Moose Lodge sportsman's club. You
indicated that the proposed commercial kitchen wastewater use at the facility should reflect
contributions to the wastewater flow from the prep sink, three-compartment sink, and
commercial dishwasher. You estimated the total flow from these sources would be
approximately 125 gallons per day (gpd). The following pages revise our calculations to include
this figure. Section numbers below refer to sections from the original NLS report. Plate 10
from the report has also been revised and is attached to this letter.
3.4 Future On-Site Sources of Nitrate
3.4.1 Quantity and Quality of Domestic Wastewater From Proposed Project
The following discussion is for determining the long-term waste water flow generated from the
proposed construction for the nitrate loading analysis and should not be used for septic system
design purposes. Typically, use estimates for the sizing of septic systems include a peak use
factor, whereas the numbers discussed here are based on long-term averages.
The sportsman's club is proposed to have four employees per day during the week and six per
day on the weekend. A total of 40 members per day is anticipated during the week, with 150
members per day on the weekend. We understand that the club is planned to be open
approximately eight hours per day, seven days per week. The club includes standard restroom
facilities and a commercial kitchen.
In addition to the above uses, two gatherings per month are anticipated in which 150 people
will attend. An annual New Year's Eve party will draw approximately 210 people.
ANGELS CAMP • LODI MODESTO RENO • SACRAMENTO WALNUT CREEK
L 0 D 1 902 Industrial Way Lodi,CA 95240 209.367.3701 • FAX 209-369.4228 www.noanderson.com
