kn K L E I N F E L D E R <br /> 6 SITE RECONNAISSANCE <br /> A representative from Kleinfelder, Jennifer Young, Staff Geologist, conducted a site <br /> reconnaissance on June 17, 1999, to assess and photograph present site conditions. The <br /> approximate site boundaries are shown in Appendix A, Plate 2 "Site Map" and color photographs <br /> of the site are presented on Plate i. The site conditions discussed below are limited to readily <br /> apparent environmental conditions observed. <br /> 6.1 GENERAL INFORMATION <br /> The subject site is a graded. plot oHand. There is a raised area is present in the northern portion <br /> of the site. The raised area appeared to be present because the area had been graded around a <br /> large tree. A concrete wash out \W-IS present along the northern portion of the site. Located in the <br /> southern portion of the site is an electrical/utility hook up for the proposed residential <br /> development on the subject site. A pole mounted transformer labeled "5", is located along the <br /> northern border of the site. The transformer appeared to be in good condition with no visible <br /> leakage or spills. The ground surface beneath the transformer was clean and free of <br /> discoloration. <br /> 6.2 SURROUNDING PROPERTIES <br /> Adjacent to the north of the site is a residential area.
