(AGE) has prepared the enclosed report summarizing <br /> soil sampling activities performed after the removal of one split 22,000-gallon underground <br /> storage tank(UST)at 550 West Valpico Road,Tracy, California(site)on 13 January 2014. <br /> SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is an Arco-branded gasoline station located along the south side of Valpico Road, <br /> approximately 275 feet east of the intersection of Valpico Road and South Tracy <br /> Boulevard. The location of the site is shown on Figure 1. Due to site renovation activities, <br /> one split 22,000-gallon UST (unleaded gasoline and diesel) was removed by Wendt <br /> Construction of Lodi, California on 13 January 2014. Following the removal of the UST, <br /> AGE collected soil samples from the bottom of the UST excavation area. <br /> SOIL SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> On 13 January 2014, AGE personnel collected a total of four (4) soil samples (Tank Pit-1 <br /> through Tank Pit-4)from the bottom of the UST excavation area at an approximate depth <br /> of 20 inches below the bottom of the excavation (approximately between 17 feet and 18 <br /> feet below surface grade). Soil samples were collected from beneath the former UST <br /> location, from north (Tank Pit-1)to south (Tank Pit-4). Sample locations were specified by <br /> Ms. Tuy Tran of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD). <br /> Soil sample locations are depicted on Figure 2. <br /> After clearing of pea gravel with the excavator to expose native soils, 20 inches of native <br /> soil was hand dug, and soil samples were hand-packed into pre-cleaned stainless steal <br /> 837 Shaw Road •Stockton,CA 95215 <br /> Telephone(209)467-1006 •Fax(209)467-1 118 <br />
