Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Stockton, CA 95206 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a permit to disconnect the monitoring panel and reconnect it in the new <br /> building, install two Bravo Medium UDCs, frames, vapor shear valve bracket, OPW shear valve, <br /> Franklin Fueling Flexing, Veeder Root eight input sensor module, and 208 sensors in the new <br /> UDCs, on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. The permit <br /> has been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at (209) 468-3440 to arrange the following inspection <br /> appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be <br /> aware that inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit <br /> approval. <br /> a. Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified (after <br /> relocation of the monitoring panel, after cold start(s), and for new UDC sensors) to <br /> ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 <br /> California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. A copy of the alarm <br /> history shall be printed prior to performing the "cold start" of the Veeder Root system <br /> and made available at the time of EHD inspection. <br /> b. Primary piping soap test: One hour pneumatic pressure test at 110% of operating <br /> pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. <br /> c. Secondary piping soap test: One hour pressure test per manufacturer's guidelines. If <br /> there are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be performed using an applicable <br /> method specified in an industry code or engineering standard. <br /> d. 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on the 87 and 91 piping and new UDC <br /> sumps. <br /> e. Secondary containment testing on the 87 and 91 piping and new UDC sumps. <br />
