CAMBRIA <br /> The groundwater chemical analytical data are summarized in the well concentrations table in <br /> Blaine's report (Appendix C) and in Table 3 Benzene and MTBE results are presented on <br /> Figure 3 Laboratory analytical data are included in Blaine's report(Appendix C) <br /> SENSITIVE RECEPTOR SURVEY ADDENDUM <br /> Cambria issued a sensitive receptor survey in the January 11, 2002 Fourth Quarter 2001 <br /> Groundwater Monitoring/Site Investigation Report and Receptor Survey Four water production <br /> wells (three domestic and one municipal) were identified through a review of Department of <br /> Water Resources (DWR) records The closest well to the subject site is a domestic well located <br /> approximately 450 feet northwest of the site A second domestic well is located 850 feet <br /> northeast of the site Cambria performed a door-to-door survey to determine the status of these <br /> wells <br /> i <br /> During the survey, Cambria spoke to residents at both locations and confirmed that neither of <br /> these domestic wells is in use Both residences are serviced by City water and the wells are <br /> either not functioning or not being used <br /> • CONCLUSIONS <br /> Soil results from the current investigation further delineate the lateral extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons and MTBE southeast of the subject site <br /> Wells MW-8 and MW-9 were installed to assess the lateral extent of impacted groundwater <br /> southeast of the subject site Groundwater samples collected from these wells provide <br /> delineation of benzene and MTBE The TPHg detections in these two wells, according to the lab <br /> report, do not exhibit a typical gasoline pattern and may not be related the petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon detected beneath the Shell site <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Cambria recommends gauging and sampling wells MW-1 through MW-11 and VEW-2 quarterly <br /> Groundwater samples from the wells will be analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, and MTBE quarterly <br /> and for fuel oxygenates ETBE, TBA, DIPE, and TAME annually in the third quarter, according <br /> to the existing sampling schedule <br /> 0854 6 <br />
