Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Prior to approval of building permit and/or the Improvement Plan,the Environmental Health <br /> Department requires the applicant to design a 100% sewage disposal area to be utilized for <br /> the future replacement or repair of the existing septic system (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 and 9-1110.4). <br /> NOTE: Environmental Health Department has no permit on the existing septic system and wi11 <br /> require the applicant to uncover the septic tank and distribution box and stake out the <br /> leach-lines under permit and applicable fee to document the septic system. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropro PP <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to issuance of building permit(s) or Improvement Plan(s) approval. <br /> Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory(San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> C. The well must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e)) as follows: <br /> Provide sample tap prior to pressure tank. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
