The soil borings were advanced to a depth of 26.5 feet below <br /> W.i r <br /> grade. <br /> Samples of subsurface soits were obtained using a California modified split-spoon sampler. Five samples <br /> were collected and examined from each of the four soil borings at 5-foot intervals. Representative soil <br /> ,. samples were collected in glass jars. Headspace gas measurements of total organic WIpars were made with <br /> an hNu PID. The readings from the hNu meter are recorded on the soil boring lags presented in <br /> I Appendix B. <br /> All drilling and sampling equipment was cleaned before-drilling etch.boring-using.a..high-pressure,-steam------------------ <br /> cleaning apparatus.
