(Apex), is pleased to provide Moore Petroleum, Inc. (Moore Petroleum), this report documenting the results of the quarterly groundwater monitoring conducted on January 29, 1997, at the subject site (Figure 1). The monitoring included collection of depth-to- groundwater measurements and groundwater sample collection from monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-6 located on site (Figure 2). This report also contains the quarterly results (November 1996 through February 1997) of the vapor extraction and air sparging systems to date. This report is based, in part, on information obtained from Moore Petroleum, and is subject to modification as newly acquired information may warrant. BACKGROUND Apex began work on the project with the groundwater monitoring conducted on January 14, 1994. Prior to Apex, work conducted at the site included subsurface investigations and groundwater monitoring by Earth Treatment Systems, Inc., of Manteca, California; Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc., of Rancho Cordova, California; Nations Groundwater Associates of Sacramento, California; and Aegis Environmental, Inc. (Aegis), of Roseville, California. Site details may be found in a "Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report," dated April 18, 1991, submitted to Moore Petroleum by Aegis.
