Soil samples were collected
{ at 5-foot-depth intervals and screened with a photoionization detection (PID). PID readings were recorded
on the soil boring logs included as Appendix B. Samples selected for analysis were based on the PID
readings and field observations. Samples were analyzed for BTEX, EDC, EDB, and TPPH using EPA
1 Method 8260. The results of the soil analyses are compiled in Table 7. Data for MW-1 were provided '
by ETS.
Two samples were analyzed from boring MW-1, 10 feet and 20 feet below grade. The 10-foot-depth
sample contained 03 ppm benzene and 450 ppm TPPH- The 2G-foot-depth sample had a Iower benzene
and TPPH concentration of 0.07 ppm and 11.0 ppm, respectively.
