i
9
Jerry Moore
Page 2
Water samples must be collected from the on-site well and the well serving the
residence east of this site. These water samples must be analyzed for Benzene,
Toluene, Ethylbenzene, Xylene, TPH as gasoline and diesel and the five
oxygenates currently being tested for at the site, using the appropriate laboratory
methods. This will provide current information on the water from these wells.
The February 18, 2000 report recommends performing a remediation pilot test
on MW8. PHSIEHD concurs with this recommendation. Submit a work plan to
define the vertical and latera! extent of the MTBE contamination at this site and
that details how the remediation pilot test will be conducted by April 16, 2000.
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449.
E
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Division
I
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising RENS
Site Mitigation Unit
c: CVRWQCB - Marty Hartzell
Apex - Tom Landwehr
