First Quarter 2002 Groundwater Monitoring Report
Moore Petroleum Bulk Plant,5491 F Street,Banta,California
!. Page 5
j Groundwater analytical results are summarized in Table 2. Figures 4 through 7 are
isoconcentration maps for TPHg, TPHd, TPH motor oil, and sum of oxygenates, respectively.
The laboratory analytical reports and chain-of-custody forms are included in Appendix C.
j All purged and recovered liquids are stored temporarily on site in Department of Transportation-
approved, 55-gallon drums pending removal from the site by a licensed hauler to an appropriate
disposal facility.
1 `
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Groundwater analytical results indicate petroleum hydrocarbons remain concentrated at the site.
Results for the monitoring wells are as follows:
i • MW-l: Detected petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations have decreased from last
quarter.
• MW-2: The only constituent detected was TPHmo at 510 micrograms per liter(ug/L),
t
an increase from last quarter.
• MW-3: The only constituent detected was TPHd at 450 ug/L, a decrease from last
quarter.
• MW-4A: TPHmo and MTBE were the only constituents above reporting limits.
TPHmo increased while MTBE decreased.
• MW-5: The only constituent detected was TPHmo at 430 ug/L.
• MW-7: Detected constituents from last quarter increased this quarter.
• MW-8: Detected constituents were within historic ranges.
• MW-9: The only constituent detected was TPHmo at 190 ug/L.
• MW-10: TPHg and benzene decreased while TPHd increased slightly. All other
constituents were non-detect.
• MW-11: TPHmo and MTBE increased this quarter. All other constituents were non
detect.
• MW-12: MTBE was the only detected constituent at 29 ug/L, a decrease from the
.J fourth quarter.
