C ' <br /> QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING REPORT <br /> 5491 F Street,Banta,California <br /> t <br /> r; <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report presents the results of quarterly groundwater monitoring completed by Aegis <br /> Environmental, Inc. (Aegis) at the operating bulk distribution facility located at 5491 F <br /> Street, Banta, California (Figure 1). The reporting period ended with a groundwater <br /> sampling and elevation measurement event on 1 February 1991. <br /> The scope of this phase of groundwater monitoring was to: <br /> o Sample groundwater from each monitoring well on site on a quarterly basis; <br /> o Submit water samples to a California-certified laboratory for analytical <br /> testing; <br /> o Collect groundwater level data on a monthly basis; and <br /> o Prepare a Quarterly Monitoring Report. <br /> 1.1 Site Location and Description <br /> The subject site is located on the northwest corner of 6th and F Streets, Banta, San <br /> Joaquin County, California as shown on Figure 2. The site is located in an <br /> commercial/residential area of Banta. The existing surface of the site is essentially fiat <br /> lying with a paved surface around the southern and eastern sides of the facility. The site <br /> is an operating bulk distribution facility with underground fuel storage tanks (UST's). A <br /> tank inventory is included below as Table 1. <br /> 1.2 Background <br /> Aegis assumed quarterly monitoring responsibility in January of 1991. Work performed <br /> at the site by previous consultants included investigations by Earth Treatment Systems, <br /> Inc. (ETS), Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc. (Delta) and Nations Groundwater <br /> Associates (NGA). <br /> The results of previous consultant's groundwater sampling and water level measurement <br /> events are summarized and included herein. <br /> i <br /> I 90-099A.RPT - <br /> i <br /> t <br />
