l ri 1 r Second Quarter 2005 Groundwater Monitoring and Remediation Status Report Moore Petroleum Bulk Plant,5441 P Street,Banta,California Page S RECOMMENDATIONS Apex recommends continued groundwater monitoring to confirm laboratory data and monthly groundwater sampling of the domestic well. The next monitoring event is scheduled for August 2005. Apex also recommends cycling the SVE system until VOC concentrations become elevated, with continued operation of the ozone system. ADDITIONAL ACTIVITES PERFORMED AT SITE Apex is scheduling the installation of five additional groundwater monitoring wells and two CPT borings as outlined in the workplan titled, Workplan for a.Limited Subsurface Site Investigation, dated January 14, 2004. At the request of Federated Insurance, Apex has included two letters dated December 30, 2003 and May 12, 2004, issued by the SJCEHD requesting further work be done to delineate the plume and the installation of an ozone sparge system at the site.
