l <br /> ri <br /> 1 r <br /> Second Quarter 2005 Groundwater Monitoring and Remediation Status Report <br /> Moore Petroleum Bulk Plant,5441 P Street,Banta,California <br /> Page S <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Apex recommends continued groundwater monitoring to confirm laboratory data and monthly <br /> groundwater sampling of the domestic well. The next monitoring event is scheduled for August <br /> 2005. <br /> Apex also recommends cycling the SVE system until VOC concentrations become elevated, with <br /> continued operation of the ozone system. <br /> ADDITIONAL ACTIVITES PERFORMED AT SITE <br /> Apex is scheduling the installation of five additional groundwater monitoring wells and two CPT <br /> borings as outlined in the workplan titled, Workplan for a.Limited Subsurface Site Investigation, <br /> dated January 14, 2004. <br /> At the request of Federated Insurance, Apex has included two letters dated December 30, 2003 <br /> and May 12, 2004, issued by the SJCEHD requesting further work be done to delineate the plume <br /> and the installation of an ozone sparge system at the site. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: <br /> Figure 1: Site Vicinity Map <br /> '.
