1 4 . 2 The remedial actions set forth in this Order are necessary <br /> 2 releases of hazardous substances from the Site. <br /> 3 4 . 3 The remedial actions set forth in this Order are necessary <br /> 4 to enjoin and abate a nuisance dangerous to health. Repondents' <br /> 5 failure to perform these remedial actions shall result in the <br /> 6 Department's commencing and maintaining all proper and necessary <br /> 7 actions or proceedings to abate this public nuisance. <br /> $ V <br /> 9 ORDER <br /> 10 IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Respondents conduct the following <br /> 11 activities: <br /> 12 5. 1 REMEDIAL INVESTIGATION AND FEASIBILITY STUDY <br /> 13 5. 1. 1 Remedial Investigation Report <br /> 14 The Remedial Investigation Report shall be submitted by <br /> 15 Respondents to the Department for review and approval. The Re- <br /> 16 medial Investigation Report shall summarize the methodology and <br /> 17 results of the Remedial Investigation including reduction and <br /> 18 interpretation of all data and information generated and/or com- <br /> 19 piled during the Remedial Investigation. The Remedial Investi- <br /> 20 gation Report shall cover the subjects outlined at the meeting <br /> 21 of 17 August 1987 and documented in the letter of 19 August 1987 <br /> 22 (as ammended by phone conversation 25 August 1987) from the De- <br /> 23 partment to Woodward Clyde Consultants. The Remedial Investiga- <br /> 24 tion Report may be used as an Addendum to the draft Remedial <br /> 25 Action Plan already submitted. <br /> 26 5.1.5 Community Relations Plan <br /> 27 The Community Relations Plan shall be submitted to the <br /> Department for review and approval in accordance with the <br /> COURT PAPER <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA -7- <br /> STD. 113 (REV.
