1 extension of the time specified. The extension request shall <br /> 2 include a justification for the delay. All such requests shall <br /> 3 be in advance of the date on which the activity or document is <br /> 4 due. <br /> 5 6. 10 EXTENSION APPROVALS <br /> 6 If the Department is convinced that good cause exists for <br /> 7 an extension as set forth in paragraph 6.9 it will grant <br /> 8 the request and specify in writing a new schedule. <br /> 9 Respondents shall comply with the new schedule. <br /> 10 6. 11 ENDANGERMENT DURING IMPLEMENTATION <br /> 11 In the event that the Chief of the Northern California <br /> 12 Section of the Toxic Substances Control Division of the <br /> 13 Department determines that any activities or circumstances are <br /> 14 creating an imminent or substantial endangerment to the health <br /> 15 and welfare of people on the Site or in the surrounding area or <br /> 16 to the environment, the Section Chief may order Respondents to <br /> 17 stop further implementation of this Order for such period of <br /> 18 time as needed to abate the endangerment. .Any deadline <br /> 19 contained in this Order which is directly affected by a Stop <br /> 20 Work Order under this section shall be extended for the term of <br /> 21 such Stop Work Order. <br /> 22 6. 12 SITE ACCESS <br /> 23 The Department and/or its authorized representatives shall have <br /> 24 the authority to enter and move freely about all property at the <br /> 25 Site at all reasonable times upon giving reasonable notice, for <br /> 26 the purposes of, among other things: inspecting records, <br /> 27 operations logs, sampling and analytical data, and contracts <br /> COURT PAPER <br /> STATE <br /> OF CALIFORNIA <br /> STD. 113 (REV.
