Work To Be Performed <br /> The consultant chosen to perform the work will be required to provide all manpower, <br /> equipment, materials, permits, licenses and insurance required to perform the following <br /> work. The work must be performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Guidelines, <br /> State of California LUFT Field Manual (October 1989), the Tri Regional Board Staff <br /> Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation of UST sites and to include Appendix A <br /> (August 1990), California UST Regulations (Title 23, Division 3, Chapter 16), and <br /> California Policies and Procedures for Investigation and Clean Up and Abatement of <br /> Discharges under Water Code Section 13304 (June 1992). <br /> Task l: Work Plans And Permits <br /> A. Conduct a site background investigation to obtain the information necessary <br /> to carry out the field work. <br /> B. Prepare a Health and Safety (H&S) Plan appropriate for each phase of the <br /> proposed work according to San Joaquin County Guidelines. <br /> C. Prepare project work plans and work schedule pursuant to the guidelines. <br /> D. Submit the H&S plan, Work Plan and schedule to San Joaquin County <br /> Department of Environmental Health (DEH), and other appropriate agencies <br /> for review. <br /> Task 2: Soil Boring And Monitoring Well Installation And Sampling <br /> A. Drill a minimum of three (3) soil borings and complete them as two inch <br /> monitoring wells. <br /> B. Collect soil samples at five foot intervals for geological interpretation and <br /> laboratory analysis (as needed). Deliver all soil samples, under chain of <br /> custody, to an analytical laboratory licensed by the State of California for <br />
