The cleaned <br /> piping was transported as a non-hazardous waste to the Levin <br /> Metal Corporation in Sacramento, California for recycling. <br /> All rinsate water was collected in United States Department of <br /> Transportation approved 55-gallon drums. The rinsate water <br /> was transported and disposed of by Romic Chemical Corporation <br /> in East Palo Alto, California <br /> Approximately 20 cubic yards of the excavated soil is <br /> currently situated on and covered by plastic, next to the <br /> excavation trenches. Based on the soil results, the soil <br /> within 2 .5 feet below the former gasoline pipes does not <br /> require treatment or disposal.
