19 September 2003
AGE-NC Project No. 03-1043
Page 4.of 4
FINDINGS
Field observations did not detect the presence of volatile organic compound_s (utilizing the PID) or
petroleum hydrocarbon-like odor in the soil samples collected.
A total of four soil and two ground water samples were submitted to CTEL for analysis as noted
above. No target analytes were detected above maximum contaminant levels in the analyzed soil or
ground water samples. The analytical results are summarized in Tables 1, 2, and 3. A copy of the
laboratoryreport(CTEL Laboratory IDs CT214-0308025-1,CT214-0308025-3,CT214-0308025-5,
CT214-0308025-7 and CT214-0309035-1, CT214-0309035-2) is included in Appendix A.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Due to the absence of detectable contaminants in the soil and ground samples,AGE recommends
that no further environmental action be taken at the site, based on site conditions and historical
research.
LIMITATIONS
Ourprofessional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based mainly..
upon . analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluation of the
geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation was made from
a limited number of available data points (i.e. soil/water samples) and subsurface conditions may
vary away from these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the
professional interpetations, opinions and recommendations contained in this report.
If you have any questions or require further information, please contact our office at(209)467-1006.
Sincerely,
JD Gt
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. 3pM R.
* No.1473
CL_
onna Sexton William R.
