KLEINFELDER
I EDB was not detected in any of the six groundwater samples analyzed. The six groundwater
samples showed non-detect concentrations of EDB above the laboratory reporting limit (ND <
JJ 5,0 ug/l). The water PMCL for EDB is 0.05 ug/l.
I
The six groundwater samples were also analyzed for the four oxygenates MTBE, DIPE, ETBE,
j and TAME. The oxygenates DIPE, ETBE, or TAME were not detected in any of the groundwater
samples submitted for laboratory analysis during this sampling event. However, MTBE was
detected in groundwater sampled collected from MW-DIS-14s with a concentration of 7.0 ug/l.
r The PMCL for MTBE is 13 uO and the SMCL for MTBE is 5 ug/l. The detected concentration
of MTBE in MW-DIS-14s does not exceed the PMCL but does exceed the SMCL for MTBE in
water. PMCLs are derived from health based criteria, whereas SMCLs are derived from human
I welfare considerations such as taste and odor.
All 6 groundwater samples were analyzed for TBA. TBA was not detected in any of the
groundwater samples submitted for laboratory analysis.
!
i
a
I
,1
I
'i
12280.MON/ST02RI34 Page 10 of 14
OO 2002,Kleinfelder,Inc July 26,2002
i
