The ozone injection system began consistent operation within the <br /> downgradient portion of the plume in September 2003. <br /> On September 1, 2005 air samples were collected for the performance evaluation of the <br /> catalytic oxidizer. The air samples were analyzed for the following: <br /> • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons-gasoline (TPH-g) by DHS LUFT; <br /> Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, Xylene (BTEX) by EPA Method 8015M18021 B; <br /> 1,2 DCA by EPA Method 8260B; <br /> Photoionization detector (PID) readings were recorded from VE-1, VE-2, VE-3, VE-4, <br /> VE-5, and the mainline before and after the dilution valve on ,duly 22, August 26, and <br /> September 29, 2005. The PID instrument is a handheld instrument used to measure <br /> the overall level of volatile organic compounds in the airstreams such as BTEX and <br /> hydrocarbons. <br /> 4.4 DWR WELL DRILLER LOG REVIEW <br /> Well Driller Logs were requested from the DWR to evaluate possible influences on the <br /> local groundwater gradient due to pumping (either old wells or new wells).
