1 D. In accordance with the State of California Labor Code, this project may be subject to submittal of weekly payroll records. Employers shall maintain weekly j certified payrolls and upon requests by the City shall ` furnish copies to the Department of Public Works Contract Compliance Officer. Employers further agree to maintain payroll records for three years after the accepted completion date of the project. E. Pursuant to Section 1777.5 of the State Labor Code, the contractor must pay apprenticeship training fees, if applicable, on any worker employed in an apprenticeable craft. Fees are paid directly to the respective joint apprenticeship training committee (JAC) trust fund. If not accepted by the JAC, fees are paid to the California' Apprenticeship Council, P.O. Box 603, San Francisco, f California, 94101. A certificate to employ and train apprentices must also be requested from the respective JAC prior to the start of, the project. F. Employers having no fringe benefit plan or program shall insure that employees working on the project shall'. receive in cash, no less than the amounts specified for. fringe benefit payments in the prevailing wage determination. , G. To insure compliance ,with prevailing wage rate requirements, the City shall review ten per cent (10%) of all public works construction projects for the calendar year. Contractors upon request shall furnish certified payroll records and review any additional reports necessary for a comprehensive review. 5 .
