r--
LJ
A S S O C I A T E S INC .
An on-site search for potential receptors was conducted on July 22, 1998 by ATC personnel.
Smiths Canal is located approximately 100 feet from the site. Historical groundwater gradients
measured at the site and regional groundwater gradient information indicate that groundwater
flows to the north-northeast. Based on Smiths Canal's upgradient location from the site, it is
unlikely that the canal has been impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons from the site.
PROJECTED SCHEDULE
Once approval of this workplan has been received, ATC will schedule drilling activities. ATC will
notify PHS/EHD at least 48 hours prior to beginning any field activities. The summary report will
be submitted to PHS/EHD approximately four to five weeks after the completion of field
activities.
All work described in this workplan will be performed under the direction of a California
Registered Professional Engineer. All work will be performed in accordance with ATC's Site
Safety Plan (SSP) and Quality Control/Quality Assurance Plan on file with PHS/EHD.
If you have any questions regarding this workplan, please contact us at (209) 579-2221.
..
