WOOLSEY OIL, INC.
166 Frank West Circle
Stockton, California
WKA No. 89-194.3
r
We have completed a sampling and testing program for soil samples obtained during removal of
the subsurface fuel tanks at the subject property. The scope of our work included sampling of soils
at locations beneath the tanks shown on Plate 1. Additionally, three composite samples (PT 10
Comp. 1, 2 and 3) of the soil excavated during'removal of Waste Oil Tank #10 and a soil sample
beneath the pipeline (PP Line) were obtained at the request of the San Joaquin County inspector.
All samples were obtained by driving clean, two-inch diameter brass tubes into the soil; sample
tubes were sealed with aluminum foil, plastic caps and wrapped with tape to mitigate volatile
hydrocarbon loss.
Samples were preserved on ice and transferred under chain-of-custody to a California certified
analytical laboratory for the following analyses:
• total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPI)
• benzene, toluene, xylene and ethyl benzene (BTX&E)
• organic'lead
• ethylene dibromidc (EDB)
• halogenated solvents (EPA 8010)
• PCBs
• EPA priority pollutant metals.
i
2742 INDUSTRIAL BOULEVARD•PO BOX 1137•WEST SACRAMENTO,CA 95691 •(916)372-1434•FAX(916)372.2565
