California Nuggets • 11 April 2013
In summary, the wastewater pond appeared to be in good condition. However, the distribution
of water in the land application area is creating ponding, which may lead to nuisance conditions
if not corrected.
With regard to the past due technical reports required by Order R5-2007-0715, the reports were
received on 1 March 2013 and are currently under review with our Permitting staff.
Post inspection update
On 5 April 2013, facility staff informed Regional Board staff that the broken pipe adjacent to the
land application area that caused flooding had been repaired and currently the Discharger is
preparing to till and seed approximately half of the land application area.
Additionally, staff has reviewed monitoring reports for the period of October 2012 through
January 2013 (inclusive) and note no deficiencies at this time. A monitoring report transmittal
sheet has been included with this inspection report and staff asks that this monitoring transmittal
sheet be included with all monitoring report submittals.
If you have any questions regarding this Notice of Violation or would like an electronic copy of
the transmittal sheet, please contact me at (916) 464-4635.
Brendan Kenny
Compliance and Enforcement Section
Enclosures: Photographic inspection log
Monitoring report transmittal sheet
cc: San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, Stockton
Inspection#115898287
