CRYSTAL CREAM& BUTTER COMPANY <br /> WKA No 1628 07 <br /> June 5, 1996 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Remedial Feasibility Study and Final Remediation Plan for submittal to the appropriate regulatory <br /> agencies <br /> Our proposed scope of work is based on previous investigative work performed at the site by our <br /> firm and others All work will be completed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD), San Joaquin Valley Unified Air <br /> Pollution Control District (SJVUAPCD) and Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), <br /> Central Valley Region requirements <br /> Site Description <br /> The site is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of West Fremont and Van Buren <br /> • Streets in the central portion of the city of Stockton (Plate 1) Surface elevation on site is <br /> approximately 15 feet above mean sea level with little relief across the site The site is bounded to <br /> the west and south by vacant lots and to the north and east by West Fremont Street and Van <br /> Buren Streets, respectively The site is mostly paved with asphalt A building occupied by <br /> American Protective Services is located on the northern part of the site The Crystal Creamery <br /> refrigerated warehouse and loading dock is located on the southern portion of the site The <br /> former underground storage tank was located between the two buildings as shown on Plate 2 <br /> Protect History <br /> Previous investigative work revealed ground water contamination beneath the site Ground water <br /> flow direction has been calculated to flow generally to the north-northeast (Plate 3) Total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline and benzene results obtained from on-site monitoring wells <br /> are presented on Plate 4 with historic laboratory data presented in Table 1 Complete laboratory <br /> reports and chain-of-custody documentation for the most recent quarter (Apnl-June, 1996) are <br /> included in the Appendix <br /> `K <br /> WALLACE KUHL <br /> recycled t�P� 6 ASSOCIATES INC <br />
