i <br /> ADDT.X'1rONAL ASSESSMENT WORKPLAN f <br /> COLBERG BOAT WORKS <br /> APRIL 20011.: <br /> Groundwater samples will be collected using new disposable bailers at each well. The <br /> `groundwater sample will be decanted from the bailer into laboratory provided containers,placed <br /> into chilled coolers and transported to a state certified laboratory under proper COC <br /> documentation. <br /> ky <br /> Groundwater Analyses <br /> The groundwater will be analyzed by a California certified laboratory in accordance with state <br /> guidelines and EPA protocol. The groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPH G, BTEX, 1,2- <br /> DCA,EDB,and fuel oxygenates using EPA Methods 8015M, 8020 and 826013, respectively. <br /> Site ,Survey', <br /> Following installation of the groundwater monitoring wells, the location and elevation of the wells I <br /> will be surveyed to the nearest 0.01 vertical foot. The elevation will be tied to the existing well <br /> casing elevations. Static groundwater levels will be measured to the nearest 0.01-foot. These <br /> data will be added to the site's data base. <br /> SUMMARY REPORT <br /> GHH will prepare an AAR to document this phase of work. The report will include: GHH's <br /> interpretation of information gathered during the investigation; detailed descriptions of the j <br /> `methodologies used to collect and analyze the data;analytical results;the total estimated mass of <br /> impacted soil and groundwater;the estimated rate of transport of groundwater away from the <br /> Site; copies of laboratory certificates with COC documentation; subcontractor reports; <br /> conclusions and recommendations. <br /> QUARTERLY MONITORING <br /> Quarterly sampling of the new wells will be initiated. Monitoring wells MW-1,MW-2, MW-3 <br /> and MW-7 (new well)will be included in the sampling program. Depths to groundwater <br /> measurements will be taken and the groundwater monitoring wells will be purged and sampled. <br /> Groundwater samples will be analyzed for the same parameters as previously identified unless <br /> otherwise directed by the County.
