(Development Title Section 9-1022.4[e][2][A]) <br /> i. UNIFORM FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the Site Plan <br /> before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of: <br /> A. Appendix III-A and III-B of the California Fire Code; or <br /> B. NFPA 1142 of the National Fire Code <br /> (2) Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California <br /> Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> (3) Key Boxes: A knox box shall be installed according to local fire department's <br /> instructions. <br /> (4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Volume 2, <br /> Standard 10-1. <br /> (5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life <br /> or property.
