This zoning designation"is established to <br /> preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of commercial agriculture enterprises" (www.co.san- <br /> joaquin.ca.us, 2004). <br /> 1.2 Proposed Development <br /> According to the information from Mr. Gary McAndrews (personal communication,August 25, <br /> 2005) the proposed development for the subject property is to subdivide the 146-acre lot into 27 ?�> <br /> separate parcels ranging in size from approximately 3 to 11 acres, the majority of the lots 5 acres in <br /> size. (See site Map as Plate 1 in the appendix) <br /> 1.3 Site Vicinity / <br /> A site vicinity map is included in the appendix of this report as Plate 2.
