Each residence could have one septic system. A second dwelling unit is not likely
due to the small area on that parcel out of the floodplain. No construction is allowed on
parcel 3.
4.0 GROUND WATER INFORMATION
4.1 Ground Water Depth and Gradient
The San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (1998 and 1999)
ground water depth and elevation maps were reviewed to determine the ground water levels
near the Site. The Fall 1998 and Spring 1999 maps are the most current official maps available
from the county. According to these maps (Plates 3-6), ground water lies between 10 and 20
feet below ground surface in the vicinity of the Site. The Site is located near the center of a
round water recharge area with an uncertain flow direction and gradient.
4.2 On-Site Ground Water
No well permits for the Site were on file with EHD. Mr. Nordman indicated during the June
8`b interview that no wells have been developed on the Site.
4
