4.0 RESP <br /> J ONSIBILITZES <br /> Dames & Moore will have site safety and health oversight and coordination <br />' responsibilities for Dames & Moore personnel; 'each subcontractor will be held <br /> accountable for the safe and healthful performance of work by each of their <br /> employees, subcontractor, or support personnel who may enter the site. <br /> The provisions of this health and safety' plan along with the applicable <br /> C regulations issued by governmental entities will be strictly adhered to by Dames <br /> & Moore. A. <br /> 4.1 PROJECT MANAGER Dames & Moore <br /> The Project Manager (PM) shall direct onsite operations. The PM may <br /> delegate all or part of these duties to a properly-qualified Dames & Moore <br /> t <br /> employee who is designated as the Site Manager. 11 At the site the PM, assisted by j <br /> the Site Safety Officer (SSO) , has primary responsibility for: t <br /> L <br /> 1. Seeing that appropriate personal protective equipment and monitoring <br /> equipment is available and properly utilized by all onsite Dames & <br /> Moore (D&M) personnel; <br /> C` E <br /> 2. Establishing that D&M personnel are; aware of the provisions of this <br /> plan, are instructed in the work practices necessary to ensure <br /> �. safety, and are familiar with planned procedures for dealing with <br /> emergencies; <br /> C3. Establishing that all D&M onsite personnel have completed a minimum <br /> of 40 hours of health and safety) training and have appropriate <br /> medical clearance as required by 29iCFR 1910.120, and have been fit <br /> tested for the appropriate respirators; <br /> 0 ff <br /> r4. Seeing that D&M personnel are aware of the potential hazards I <br /> L� <br /> associated with site operations; <br /> 5. Monitoring the safety performance of all D&M personnel to see that <br /> the required work practices are employed; <br /> �f 6.
