30 August 2019 AdvancedGeo <br /> AGE Project No. 19-4819 Environmental <br /> Page 3 of 15 � <br /> The proposed septic system and leach field is planned to be installed in the southeastern <br /> portion of the property over 130 feet from the onsite water well (Figure 2). The proposed <br /> septic system will consist of a 1,200-gallon septic tank with two compartments and three <br /> 100-foot long leach lines. The septic system will be connected to the two-bedroom <br /> residence planned to be developed on the property and will be utilized 365 days a year. <br /> 3.1. EXISTING ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> The septic system servicing the existing residential structure (house) consists of a 1,600- <br /> gallon septic tank with two compartments and four 70-foot long leach lines. The septic <br /> tank and leach lines are located to the east and north of the structure on the property. <br /> The system is permitted for a four-bedroom house and is utilized by five people 365 <br /> days/year. <br /> 3.2. SITE SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br /> Only one septic permit is on record at the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD). EHD Permit 76-418 on record for 17454 Von Sosten Road, Tracy, <br /> California, indicates that the septic system as described above was installed in April 1976 <br /> (Appendix B). <br /> 3.3. ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK REPAIR HISTORY <br /> There are no records of repairs performed on the existing septic system installed in 1976. <br /> 3.4. EXISTING SEPTIC TANK USAGE IN THE GENERAL AREA <br /> Neighboring properties are zoned for residential and agricultural land use. The adjacent <br /> property to the east and the property to the north beyond Von Sosten Road are <br /> agricultural; the adjacent property to the south and the property to the west beyond Von <br /> Sosten Court are single-family residential. Several liquid waste permits are on record at <br /> the EHD for installation of septic systems surrounding the site property. <br /> 3.5. GENERAL AREA SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br /> The following is a summary of information based on new septic system installation permits <br /> currently on file with EHD. <br />
