' 8.0 Emergency Response/Contingency Plan <br /> I <br /> Emergency conditions that may be anticipated during work activities-include: <br /> • Medical emergency due to heat stress <br /> j • Physical accident or exposure to toxic materials! <br /> fi • Fire involving combustible materials. <br /> This section contains emergency telephone numbers to call for;immediate first aid, for the closest <br /> hospital capable of providing emergency service to field personnel, and a map showing the <br /> location of the hospital. Additionally, telephone numbers of Police, Fire and ambulance <br /> emergency contacts, IT management and the Poison Control Center have been provided. The <br /> •I <br /> SSHO will be responsible for taking necessary action and contacting,the appropriate emergency <br /> Y <br /> 1 contacts and IT personnel in case of emergency. Appendix A contains an Accident Reporting <br /> Form that needs to be completed as soon as the situation is under control. <br /> 8.1 Emergency Supplies <br /> At a minimum, the following supplies must be immediately available.for on-site use: <br /> • Potable drinking water <br /> • First aid equipment and supplies <br /> • Emergency eyewash station <br /> • Portable mobile telephone <br /> • Fire extinguisher. j <br /> pp <br /> 1 <br /> 8.2 Emergency Instruction <br /> All field personnel shall be instructed on the basic emergency fictions to take in the event of a <br /> medical, fire or chemical emergency.
