I 1 9.0 Training Requirements The objectives of IT's training program for employees involy d in field activities are: • To make workers aware of the potential hazards they may encounter • To provide knowledge and skills necessary to perform the work with minimal risk to the workers health and safety • To make the workers aware of the purpose and'i�limitations of safety equipment P • To ensure the workers can safely avoid or escape from emergencies To meet regulatory compliance requirements ► 1 All field personnel, including subcontractor personnel, assigned to this project shall have satisfied the contractual training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120 (e), including: ' • OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations Training, all personnel OSHA 8-Hour Refresher Training, all personnel who completed OSHA 40-Hour +' training more than 12 months previously { • OSHA 8-Hour Supervisor Training, required for the Field Supervisor and any other field personnel assigned supervisory duti is during the project ' At least one individual trained in First Aid/CPR will be on-site during field r• activities for this project J • All field personnel assigned to the project shall°be informed of, and trained on the content and application of the HASP, shall receive a copy of the HASP, and shall sign a Site-Specific Safety and Health Plan Compliance Agreement upon completion of this training 1 All required training shall be documented and IT shall maintain copies of all training certificates, 7i medical clearance records and record of all training forms on-site during the project.
