1
• Historical Background: River City Petroleum and Connell Motor Lift Truck
' Page 7 of 13
samples from CPT P32 as follows:
' 0 TPH-ss and TPH- were detected at concentrations as high as 2 300 milligram per kilogram
g g gr' p gi'
(mg/kg) in soil sample P32-60, TPH-d was detected in the same sample at a concentration
' of 1,300 mg/kg.
• TPH-g and TPH-ss were both detected in soil sample P32-70 at a concentration of 1,800
' mg/kg,TPH-d was detected, in the same sample, at a concentration of 2,000 mg/kg. TPH-g
and TPH-ss were detected in soil sample P32-78 at concentrations of 41 and 72 mg/kg,
respectively. TPH-d was not detected in the same sample.
iToluene, ethylbenzene and xylene were detected,in the above samples,at concentrations as
high as 2.6 mg/kg.The volatile organic compound methanol was detected in one soil sample,
' P32-60, at a concentration of 310,000 micrograms per kilogram(gg/kg).
• Oxygenated fuel additives were not detected in the soil samples analyzed.
A total of five "grab" ground water samples were collected from CPT P30 through P33 and
submitted for laboratory analysis for the above mentioned constituents.
' TPH-g and TPH-ss were detected in the grab water sample collected from boring P32 at 60
feet bsg, at concentrations of 120,000 micrograms per liter(µg/1). TPH-g and TPH-ss were
1 detected in water samples collected from boring P32 at 100 feet bsg,at concentrations of 440
and 140 µg/1, respectively.
' • TPH-d was detected in water samples collected from boring P32 at 60 and 100 feet bsg, at
concentrations of 230 and 330 gg/l, respectively.
• TPH-g and TPH-ss were detected in water samples collected from boring P33 at 80 feet bsg,
' at concentrations of 680 and 210 µg/1, respectively. TPH-d was detected in the same water
sample collected from boring P33 at a concentration of 230 µg/1.
• BTEX compounds were detected in the ground water samples at concentrations as high as
760 gg/l (P32-60, xylene). Benzene was detected in the ground water sample from P32-60
at a concentration of 96 µg/1 .
• 1,2-DCE was detected at a concentration of 1.4 gg/1 in the water sample collected from P30
at a depth of 100 feet bsg and 1,2-DCA was detected at a concentration of 25 µg/1 in the grab
' ground water sample collected from P33 at approximately 80 feet bsg.
• No other petroleum hydrocarbon constituents or fuel oxygenated compounds were detected
' by the laboratory analyses.
Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc.
