A major element of the field work
included conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by
San Joaquin County, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD).
In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, geologic
maps, and groundwater information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use
with a septic system.
The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, the
EHD s Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003.
✓1.1 Site Description
The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 003-100-25. The land grades primarily
downwards towards the lake near the center of the property.
According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department
(http://www.co.san-joaquin.ca.us), the subject property is zoned AG-40, general agriculture
with a minimum parcel size of 40 acres.
